Suicidal Parenteral Intoxication of Deltamethrin and Dimethoate Mixture: A Case Report
Abstract :
Organophosphate poisoning generally occurs due to intestinal absorption of the ingested drug for suicidal attempt, parenteral (percutaneous and intraveneous) poisoning is very rare in human. A 19 year old male was accepted to intensive care unit due to cardiac arrest after injected unknown amount of deltamethrin ve dimethoat via parenterally in to the left antecubital area. The patient who was we treated three days died as a result of multiorgan disfunction. Pesticide poising is not common in the litarature and we haven’t found a mixt pesticide poising like our case. Therefore we aim to discuss the process of intensive care unit, autopsy and toxicology results of this rare case
