Metaldehyde Toxicity in A Cat
Abstract :
In this study; a metaldehyde (molluscicide) poisoning in 4 year old female cat which brought to a private veterinary clinic for medical examination and treatment has been subject. Results of clinical, haematological and biochemical findings of cat which has vomiting, weakness and fatigue in medical history; diagnosed as metaldehyde poisoning. The aim of this case report is consideration poisoning of street and indoor cats which goes out sides with metaldehyde which is used widely as slug and snail bait to control.
