Peste Des Petits Ruminants Antibody Distribution In Some Goat Breeds After The Vaccination
Abstract :
Peste des petits ruminants (PPR), is economically important in our countries, same as other countries in the world, where are commonly breeding goat. Vaccination has an important role for prevention against to this infection. Aim of this study, Determination of PPR antibodies distribution among the goat breeds after vaccination. In the study, 102 Saanen, 124 Maltese and 142 Hair goats breed were examined by cELISA for seropositivity formed after PPR vaccination. Finally, antibody presence of PPR vaccine inoculated animals was determined as 72.55% (267/368). The distribution of seropositivity of Saanen, Maltese and Hair goat breeds were determined to 69.60, % 72.58% and 72.53 respectively. In vaccinated animals seropositivity rates were evaluated on according to goat breeds and were not found statistically significant differences.
