Abstract :
In this research, It was examined to determine factors affecting the preferences of them and the vitamin usage habits of test subjects consisting of one thousand people representing the four different socio-cultural groups in İstanbul. It was chosen the participants of this experiment by the random sampling method. And asked to respond questions about the issues throuhg interview face to face them. The data obtained at the end of the research were evaluated in general and subgroups, then those analysis were given in percentages and shown in graphs. Regarding to the result of this research, It was determined that the vast majority of people have irregularly vitamin using habits, prefer to use vitamin with the aim greatly to feel good themselves, to be resistant to certain diseases.To reach better living conditions; the irregular nourisment and the worry of the reliability of food impel to use vitamins people . At this point; when It was examined how make their vitamin choice and whether they have enough consciousness, was determined that socio-cultural groups are different from each other. People should be conscious about nutrition and vitamin use. Also, people should get help from an expert people to choose vitamin intake on.
