The Analysis of Turkish Course Exam Questions According to Re-constructed Bloom’s taxonomy
Abstract :
The multi-faceted correlation of mother tongue instruction with thinking processes emphasizes the importance of educational elements conducted in Turkish course. According to the constructivist approach, the prepared curriculum for Turkish course aims at developing high level intellectual skills. The practices of assessment-evaluation which are the significant phases of education and instruction must be prepared with this purpose in this regard. In the research, the classification of the questions was done according to Bloom’s taxonomy, which is internationally accepted and re-constructed, and analyzed through document investigation of 5th, 6th and 7th grade Turkish course exam papers in the fall semester of 2014-2015 academic year. The research findings show that most of the questions cover conceptual knowledge; and they are at the comprehension phase on the dimension of cognitive process.
