Abstract :
Objective of this study is to measure quality of the service perceived in trimester education applications in higher education. The main aim of education given in higher vocational schools is to provide industry with the qualified manpower needed. Due to annual increases in competitive conditions it is necessary to extend the duration of applied education provided to undergraduates to keep up with the rapidly changing structure of industry. To collect data a survey method was used in this research. There is no study in literature concerning with trimester. The data obtained from the answers given by undergraduates who were educated in the trimester education model were analyzed with SPSS version 21.0 statistics package program. The research group was comprised of students and graduates of Office Management and Executive Assistance Program who were studying in trimester model of Gaziantep University Naci Topçuoğlu Higher Vocational School. In this study, research group’s, that were included in the scope of trimester education applications, differentiating perception levels related to quality of service were analyzed statistically in terms of certain variables. Consequently, statistically significant differences were detected between analyses performed in the scope of research hypothesis and the trimester students’ satisfaction levels.
