Abstract :
The government of Salih Pasha, one of the short-lived governments of the armistice commission, was founded on March 8, 1920 and resigned with a party on April 4, 1920. The government of Salih Pasha is a goverment of misfortunesbecause one of the darkest days of Turkish history was experienced in this period and on 16 March 1920, the capital of the Ottoman State was officially occupied. Although Salih Pasha had taken his place in history as an occupied capital s grand vizier, he showed resistance against the occupiers that could be considered important. As a result of these developments, the National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey was opened. The aim of this study is to draw attention to the government of Salih Pasha, which has not been much involved in the research about other governments of the armistice commission, and to clear a path for further research.. During the production of this work, the research started with the memoirs of the period. The memories of those who have experienced the events themselves are taken as references.
