Economic and Commercial Situation of Mosul Province According to the British Consulate Reports (1896-1912)
Abstract :
In this study, the economic and the commercial state of the city of Mosul between 1896-1912 depending on the reports prepared by British consulate operating in Mosul. In the addition to the data collected from the reports, the information on the commercial capacity of the province of Mosul, transportation and the routes, the types and the cost of imported and exported goods as well as the packaging done for the transportation by mules and camels are given in the study.
