Abstract :
Although elevated serum lgE is accepted as a sign of atopy, high total lgE level may accompany with non-allergic asthma and contribute to pathogenesis and severity of the disease independently from atopy. ln this case report, we present a patient of us whose allergy skin tests and speciic lgEs were negative, who was started omalizumab treatment following obtaining weak positivity against Dermatofagoides pteronysinus in intradermal tests repetaed with one year interval and who signiicantly beneited from treatment.
