Abstract :
The Article 14 of the New Turkish Code of Obligations (Law No. 6098) provides a new form requirement rule in line with the recent technological developments. This provision has not been existed in the Old Turkish Code of Obligations (Law no. 818). The innovation brought thereby will have a different effect in accordance with the different interpretations thereof. On the other hand, its effect to the concept of “deed” under the civil procedural law must be determined.
