Recently, in view of growing economic and social conditions, debt rela-tions which arise from usufructuary lease contracts, can cause rising to nu-merous conflictions. Provisions related to “Usufructuary lease” which are located between 270th-298th articles in Code of Obligations dating from 1926, were regulated for many emerging disputes of prevailing conditions of economic, social and technological developments. In this study, it is aimed to conduct the principles and distinctions related to many particular disputes which are related to cessation of usufructuary lease. According to the effect of new Turkish Code of Obligations which is going to enter in force on July 1, 2012, principles related to cessation of usufructuary lease is determined in comparison existing Obligations Code and new Turkish Obligations Code.
