The Crime Concept in European Comparative Law
Abstract :
The meaning of crime concept is studied within the scope of German, French, Polish and English Law. In this respect, the thoughts of Franz von Liszt are followed. The quotation saying that “It is an international re-quirement that all the general elements of the crime concept should be clear and accessible,” is also examined. The question whether a common crime concept in European Law may be developed or not is also dealt with. And besides, the importance of comparative law study is highlighted.
