Abstract :
Book – Entry system has been came into force legally by the adding of article 10/A of Stock Exchange Act (SEA) with the topic of “Dematerialization of Securities” in 1999. With the constructing of Central Registry Agency which will conduct the system and dematerialization of Securities (Dematerialization of joint-stockcorporation’s Publicly–Traded Shares – 28.11.2005), application of book – entry system has been started actively. Book – Entry system has essentially been regulated in the Stock Exchange Act (Article 10/A of SEA). Even though the joint-stock corporation’s Publicly–Traded Shares are included in book – entry system, there is no provision about book – entry system in TCC Law No 6762. However, there are some provisions related to book – entry system in TCC Law No 6102. This study has been prepared in order to analyze the provisions of TCC Law No 6102 related to book – entry system.
