Abstract :
In this paper, the pilotage system in Turkey is discussed by defining the ship master, crew and the pilot under the new Turkish Commercial Code (Maritime Division). Marine salvage process, the requirements for claim to be awarded and the matter of salvage award for the pilots are observed.
