Abstract :
The Omnibus Law No. 6552 regarding the changes in the Labour Law, some other Laws and Legislative Decrees and Reconstruction of Some Debts, which has come into effect by being published in the Official Journal dated 11.09.2014, has made changes and constituted new regulations within Law No. 5510 regarding the Social Security and General Health Insurance Law. All the mentioned changes are such that each can be subject to separate reviews.But some these changes stand out more than the others due to both the application and also the time period which the Law No. 6552 was established. In this study, the noteworthy changes regarding, the establishment of the insurance relations, regulations which ease the qualification of insured women for retirement pension, the support within the scope of the general health insurance and the regulations regarding the victims of the mining accident thathad occured in the Soma district of Manisa province, have been reviewed.
