Abstract :
Movements of reception and codification, which are pervaded from Europe, are significant subjects occupying the countries’ agenda of law and legal culture since the eighteenth century. The role of these two concepts from the points of philosophy of law and sociology of law and legal history is undeniable. This article analyzes the concepts of reception and codification within the legal scopes of Thibaut and Savigny.
