Abstract :
In our age, gigantic developments in information and communication technologies driven by internet lead to many changes in political, social, economic and cultural areas. This phenomenon affecting our world in many ways is called as “globalization”. Globalization enables not only significant gains but also causes numerous legal issues. Actions aiming to have unjust gains and illegal also causes numerous legal issues. Actions aiming to have unjust gains and illegal access to/interception of personal data through internet are outstanding among them. Personal data is reached in various illegal methods and used for internet banking, thus causing torts against banks. Therefore, banks’ property is damaged in the first place. Yet, banks later could file actions for damages against third parties having got unjust gains and against account holders who have breached the contract by not protecting well their personal data.
