Abstract :

In the world that develops and changes rapidly in line with technological developments, developments and changes in science and art are experienced as well. As a matter of fact certain branches of art are affected by the developments and changes n question positively and others are affected negatively. Those scientists and artists who are capable of keeping up with the realities and requirements of the era by preserving their selves, who make use of technology are distinguished and come into prominence when they make any contribution to the scientific and art branches they represent. And Levent ALYAP has been one of the artists who attracted attention in visual arts recently with his very valuable designs and interpretations on ancient Turkish culture and ancient Turkish language which he prepared by making use of computer technologies. This article is mainly composed of a conversation which deals with Levent ALYAP’s life, art and works.
