Abstract :
There are different implementations among the source of the word Terekemes rumors. First, the “Terekemes”, “Turkmen” word is derived. Second, the spread of Islam in Anatolia in the first emigrant Arabs brought from Mecca to the “abandonment of Mecca-i” concept. Third, according to rumor, this name Terekemes among the “old left their country that they” took to. Terekemes also “Karapapak” called ta. Terekemes Kars, Ardahan, Igdır, Mus, Erzurum, Erzincan, Sivas, Amasya, Van, Agrı, Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adapazarı, Bursa Karapapak as many have migrated to cities.
