MAKAL-METELLER IN KAZAKH TURKISH AND “TONGUE” WITH ORGAN NAMES ESTABLISHED PROVERBS

The utterances which emphasize customs, tradition and culture as a jurisdiction which comes from the life experiences of communities, and the teaching and leading utterances which repeats oftenly in metaphorically systematized type is called proverb. Proverbs, are the utterances / words which lived with its own time people, and come with them as a heritage, and contently, which have lessons and advices. Kazakh proverbs are one of the most important aspects of the language which Kazakh people, show their practical intelligences in particular situations they experience in social and natural life. Makal, nakıl and makal-metelder which is in the topic whose name is the frazeologizm ( Grek phrasis - logos) ekuals to the words which are sab-sav in Divan-ı Lügâti’t Türk and darb-ı mesel and mesel tabir in Ottoman Turkish, and atasözü and sav in Present Turkey Turkish. In Kazakh Turkish, the makal, with its scopes, is wider than the atasözü (~proverb) in Present Turkish. The utterances which are said by writes and poets in Present Turkish, apart from proverb, they are counted as a different kind under the topic ‘kuotes and terse utterances’. But in Kazakh Turkish, the type, makal (~proverb) has been used widely, and ‘kuotes’ are counted under the type makal (~proverb).In this artice, like these kuestions what is makal? What is the difference(s) between makal and metel? What is the role of makal in frazeologizm? were answered. Then, the makal (~proverb) which are related to the basic sense organs which tongue were examined by the perspective of its meaning.
