Abstract :
In this article were discussed the words oguz (), ötüg () and kılıglıg / kılınçlıg () which passing in the Talas inscriptions and thought read and interpreted incorrectly. The word which passes in Talas II inscription and have been read by scientists in the form ogur, oguratı, oguz have been read as oguz and interpreted as bride by us. The word which passes in Talas XVII (Talas XIV) inscription ötüg () with the word taşı (stone, inscription) interpreted as request, supplication inscription. But this interpretation is not accordance with the general meaning of the inscription. Therefore, is believed that this word will mean another meaning. Indeed, the origin of the word ötün- the verb öt- means not only to ask, to request, else to explain, to tell the story. From this point has been suggested that words ötüg taşı could mean story stone, inscription. İt is believed that word which read in different ways could read kılıglıg or kılınçlıg and means movement, behavior.
