Abstract
One of the branches of Kyrgyz who lives in other countries is Pamir Kyrgyz. A large amount of Pamir Kyrgyz migrated to Turkey in 1982 and nowadays they are living in Ulupamir which is in the Erciş district borders of Van. Kyrgyzs in Ulupamir try hard to protect Kyrgyz s traditions which have lived for centuries. In these traditions, the most they pay attention to the marriage ceremonies. In this study, it is talked about marriage traditions of Kyrgyz Turkish who live in Ulupamir Village. These traditions are formed various phases like other Turkish tribes. Firstly, it is talked about marriage types, then marriage ceremonies are studied in three stages as traditions applied before wedding, traditions applied during wedding and traditions applied after wedding. In thıs study which is based on field research, interview and observation techniques are used.
