    USAGES UR- / VUR- VERB IN IDIOMATIC COMPOUND VERBS ACCORDING TO DATAS OF TANIKLARIYLA TARAMA SÖZLÜĞÜ

  • Abstract
    The first written sources of Turkish language vocabulary contained within the ur - real in the historical development of Turkish verbs in terms of the use of Turkish language in the idiomatic compound verbs it became one of vocabulary richness has created and is creating. Clauson, ur - place of the arm depending on the usage of to put (put) and strike (to strike), stressing and he has expressed that it was prevalence of use of “put” at idiomatic uses. it has seen that it was gained new side and abstract meanings as these two basic meaning in time. Meanings of side and abstract of a word, that it won by the side best way to determine is to investigate cooccurrence. In this study, at Tanıklarıyla Tarama Sözlüğü located in ur-/ vur- verb uses of cooccurence was focused on the verbs, consisting of idiomatic compound verbs. Ur- / vur – verb is created idiomatic compound verbs in terms of relationship use of the verb-actant was evaluated and the Turkish language in the historical development in terms of relationship verb-actant differ in terms of whether was determined. Secondly, ur- / vur- verb is created idiomatic compound verbs was examined in terms of their uses of cooccurence. Cooccurence of ur- / vur- with nouns, the first it was discussed according to the origin of the noun, accordingly, the Turkish origin noun + ur- / vur-, Arabic origin noun + ur-/ vur -, Persian origin noun + ur- / vur - and from other origin nouns + ur - / vur- in the form was classified. Also ur- / vur- the verb used with the noun according to the quality of a classification attempt was made. In this context, it was classified under headings of nouns of the human body nouns ( hand, foot, head, neck, mouth, eye, ear, face, such as ) + ur-, object nouns + ur-, for creating perception with verbal / nouns + ur-, nouns with voice + ur-, nouns of related word and voice + ur-, disease-related nouns + ur-, nouns of related heat and fire + ur-, place-related nouns + ur-, nouns of related writing and picture + ur-, movement nouns + ur-, other nouns + ur-. Third, the idiomatic compound verbs according to the meaning of ur- / vur- will be classified. Also, at Tanıklarıyla Tarama Sözlüğü located, ur- / vur- is created, idiomatic compound verbs was compared with uses of Old Turkish and New Turkish interms of relationship verb-actant and cooccurence.
