  • Abstract
It is a natural process for a language to experience a change in time through its different branches and that they differ from each other. These changes later made it difficult to create a communication between dialects or caused misunderstandings. This situation especially caused pseudo-equivalents to appear. Pseudo-equivalents in Kyrgyz Turkish called “tuzak sözdör” or “til aralık omonimder” are the topics which have been mostly discussed in the studies about Turkish dialects in Turkey. Similarities in cognate languages seem to make transferring and understanding easy, however it may confuse the reader or the one who transfers. Transferring only one word in the sentence may cause a semantic shift. Kyrgyz Turkish is one of the dialects which is not similar to Turkish. Translating a work from Kyrgyz Turkish or understanding well a Kyrgyz person requires well acquaintance of pseudo-equivalents. In this study, we preferred to categorize the pseudo- equivalents ascertained in the texts (books, novels, stories) transferred until today under two titles as Verbs and Nouns. In this respect, we hope that this study will be meeting the expectations about the related studies.
