WEB BASED DISTANCE LEARNING IN MUSIC EDUCATION

Today, the developments in scientific and technological fields and the changing of individuals educational needs have necessitated some changes in the education system. The reflection of these developments and changes in education system can be seen in distance learning studies. It is thought that the distance learning method applied in many areas will contribute to the field of music education. In this research, it is aimed to reveal the findings and ideas about the use of web based distance learning in music education. For this purpose, the literature was searched and the information reached was assessed. In the research, some problems in music education were addressed and various suggestions were made by discussing web based distance learning method for solving these problems. In the research, it has been reached that many distance learning studies in music education are carried out on instrument education and these studies are effective.
