Abstract
In the frame of postmodern educational paradigm it is suggested that the focus of the education should be placed on the interaction between teacher and student. In this respect, the power of teacher in creating and managing change is an important aspect while understanding the dynamics of education process. As a research method, action research, is suggesting a frame for teachers to create and manage change in educational and instructional practice. In this study, the action research is examined through a perspective of evolving role of teachers in the postmodern educational paradigm..
