Abstract :
Hoca Neş et, lived in Istanbul between the second half of the XVIII. century and the first quarter of the XIX. century, is one of the important teacher and poets in his era. Neş’et is a person who devoted his life to cultivate people. There had been a literary entourage around the Hoca that offered his mansion in Molla Güranî as a school to the students’ service. In this paper, the biography of Neş’et Hoca that is written by his student Pertev who was the most popular student in related literaty entourage will be focused on and some evaluations will be made.
