Abstract
Urfalı Nâbî’s Hayriyye, one of the most famous mesnevis of 17th century, is not only didactic, intellectual and moral literature, but is also shown as a principle mesnevi of Divan literature. The effect of this mesnevi is felt today as well as written in that century. The presence of the effects of this mesnevi is available in the inner world of Prof. Dr. Mahmut Kaplan who introduced Hayriyye-i Nâbî to today’s people and made criticisim on it. In this study, we have searched for the meaning of the couplet in Hayriyye-i Nâbî considering the impressions we get from both the attitude towards us inthe master degree and the attitude towards the section in our assistance. Therefore we have tried to determine the reflections of Hayriyye-i Nâbî to the iner world of Prof. Dr. Mahmut Kaplan
