THE IMPACT OF FUZÛLÎ IN ONE EACH POEMS OF TWO MANISA POETS (A Tanzir and Tahmis Work of Fuzûlî s Gazel by Nüzûlî of Kula and Remzî of Kırkağaç)
Abstract :
This paper attempts to illustrate the influence of Fuzuli, the famous divan poet, on two poets from Manisa through two of their selected poems, namely, Remzi of Kirkagac’s poem in which he adds three more lines to each couplet to one of Fuzuli’s ghazels (tanzir), and Mustafa Nuzuli of Kula’s imitation (tahmis) of another ghazel by Fuzuli. These two poems show how the influence of Fuzuli can still be observed in these small Anatolian towns in Manisa even after centuries in a land so far away from Fuzuli’s own.
