EXAMINING THE DIFFICULTIES RELATED TO EDUCATIONAL SUPERVISORS’ SELECTION, ASSIGNMENT AND FINANCIAL RIGHTS, AND TRAINING
Abstract :
This research aims to determine the difficulties related to educational supervisors’ selection, assignment and financial rights, and training by examining the opinions of provincial educational supervisors. The research follows the phenomenology pattern which is one of the qualitative research patterns. In this research, data were obtained by interviews carried out using semi-structured interview form. The study group of the research is composed of provincial educational supervisors who served in Çanakkale. Descriptive analysis was performed to analyze the data.According to results; “inadequate experience criterion in choosing educational supervisors, not decide the need of educational supervisors according to branches, not oversee integrity of the family in displacement, lower personal rights than others having similar works, not attend abroad practices, out of date in-service trainings” are among the difficulties related to educational supervisors’ selection, assignment and financial rights, and training.
