In addition to economic and military warfare of the first world war, propaganda emerged for the first time. Using the media as a propaganda tool affected the course of the war. Britain s best selling newspaper The Times is an important example of the affect of the media on the political developments. The topic of this article is the help to the Armenian refugees in the first world war which had a remarkable effect on the financial support of the Armenians with the comments, declaration and messages on the newspaper
