Abstract :
Following the abolition of the Janissary Corps in 1826, various areas of socio-economic life in the Ottoman State began a period of reform and this period lasted for more than half a century. Mahmud II and the Tanzimat reforms formed a unity to itself with the integrity observed during this period, not only in terms of reform programs but at the same time also monitored the structural properties of the administrators who worked in the management of the Ottoman State. The analysis of those persons belonging to the administrative class is also of great important in understanding the structure of the reforms of this period and this article presents an analysis of the Ottoman elite administrators in the period between 1826 and 1878 in categories including: age, education, social class, etc..
