Abstract :
Lipoma is the most common mesenchymal neoplasm in the human body with a mean age of fifth decade. Due to tendency of slow growth and having a soft, movable and capsulated nature, they are generally asymptomatic. Although differential diagnosis includes many malignant and benign tumors, total surgical excision is the preferred treatment modality. About %45 of all has extremity localisation and may rarely become giant masses due to their asymptomatic nature. In this case report, we report a 80 years old male who complains about pain and coldness on his left arm with a brakial mass of about 15 cm in diameter which is diagnosed as lipoma after its surgical excission and histopathological examination, and reviewed the literature.
