  • Abstract
Idiopathic intracranial hypertension is a state in which there are clinical aspects of intracranial elevated pressure with the lack of a structural lesion or cerebrospinal fluid abnormality. Patients may admit with headache worsening in the morning, especially with cough or movement, diplopia, blurred vision and a concentric contracted visual field. Unilateral or bilateral papilledema, which is an important component of the disease, may not be detected in every case. Here we report three cases in whom the cerebrospinal fluid pressures were over 200 mmH2O and who had symptoms of elevated intracranial pressure in the lack of papilledema.
