Abstract :
When we are talking about the medieval ages, usually a dark era comes to mind. This is because the first thing that comes to mind is the social crisis and the social backwardness in Europe as the result of having remained distant to the sciences, art and philosophy under the influence of the scholastic philosophy. Whereas the dimension of the Medieval Islamic World had a brilliant civilization. The Ancient Greek, having taken the cultural and the civilization elements of the Roman and the Sassanid civilizations, has experienced a great enlightenment during the period of the Islamic World which revealed a strong civilization, especially in the period of the Abbasids. We, in our study of this article, have founded it necessary to study the impacts of the Sassanid culture and civilization on the Islamic world. And one of the major factors that the Islamic world has a bright civilization is the contribution of the Sassanid culture and civilization to the Islamic world. The Islamic religion, having an open and innovative approach to the civilized elements as science, art, and philosophy, has brought along the enlightenment as well. Seeing the knowledge as a lost object that needs to be obtained in terms of the religion of Islam and the objectives towards achieving it, have been a conduce towards getting the useful civilized elements that the Muslims met on the region they have conquered.
