Abstract :
This study was carried out to determine the effect of different forms and doses of fertilizer with nitrogen on the herbage yield and silage quality of hybrid maize description TTM-815 in 2004-2005 years in a manufacturer terrain in centrum of Van. In this experiment conducted in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications, five different doses (0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 kg N/da) of ammonium nitrate (26 % N), ammonium sulphate (21 % N) and urea (46 % N) were applied. The half of doses of fertilizers with nitrogen was applied with cultivation and the other half was applied when plants grow taller to 40-45 cm. In the assay, the plant height, green herbage yield, dry herbage yield, leaf ratio, stem ratio, ear ratio, crude protein ratio and crude protein yield were investigated. In the study, while the effect of nitrogen forms on the green herbage yield, dry herbage yield, leaf ratio and crude protein ratio was found as important, the effect of nitrogen doses on the all of the studied criteria was found as important. The highest green herbage yield (6852,3 kg/da) and dry herbage yield (1081 kg/da) and crude protein ratio and yield (8.1 % and 86,3 kg/da) were obtained from the applied dose of ammonium nitrate, urea and ammonium sulphate in 20 kg/da, respectively.
