Determination of flower bud differentiation duration in jerseymac and jonagold apples
Abstract :
This study was aimed to determine of flower bud differentiation and development process in Jerseymac and Jonagold apple varieties grown in Egirdir conditions. For anatomical studies buds taken from apple trees within 10- 15 days interval on May. June. July and August for 2 years. The first morphological differentiation was observed in the first week of June. In July. differentiation of flower organ drafts have been identified and continued until the end of August. There have no differences among cultivars and trail years in terms of flower bud differentiation duration and development processes.
