Abstract :
In this study, some physicochemical properties of Ayaş Research and Training Farm soils of Agricultural of Faculty, Ankara University investigated using geostatistical methods. Soil properties of physical (clay, silt, sand) and chemical (pH, EC, OM and CaCO3) in Inceptisols and Entisols soils taken from 0-30 cm depths were analyzed. Soil sampling has been made on a grid with 100mx100m unit cells and located transects between these polygon points to collect samples in every 3, 8, 10, 25, 60, 80 m. The localized of 100 soil samples points was defined as polygon of 46 points and transect of 54 (9x6) points. Initially, descriptive statistics were determined, and then theoretical semivariogram were calculated for each parameters and variation maps were created by kriging method. Clay, Silt, pH, EC and CaCO3 were modeled with the spherical model, sand and OM with the exponential model. As a result of the calculated semivariogram models, The highest range distance was observed for EC with 639 m, and the lowest value was observed for clay with 181 m. The estimates of semivariogram models were controlled with cross-validation analysis. Correlation coefficients in cross-validation tests ranged from 0.69-0.81.
