Investigations on Effectiveness of Some Biopesticides and Their Mixtures on the Control of European Grapevine Moth (Lobesia botrana Denn. Schiff.) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae)

Biopesticides registered in IPM programs against European Grapevine Moth, Lobesia botrana (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae); Bacillus thuringiensis based and Azadirachtin based used at recommended doses individually and as combinations of B.thuringiensis and Azadirachtin at half percent doses. Spinosin based biopesticide was used as the positive conrol. Experiments conducted to see the effectiveness of biopesticide mixtures against to two generations of the pest and assessment were done on the 3rd, 5th ve 7th days following the applications. Due to the statistical analysis was no significant difference observed between individual applications and the biopesticide combinartions, although on the third days after the applications B. thuringiensis var. aizawai and Azadirachtin combinations were the most effective group. To enhance this effect and prove effective control on the following days, different quantities in mixture has to be tried with following experiments. Also amount of B. thuringiensis in the combinations has to be higher.
