Investigation on performance of registered herbicides on resistant and sensitive Wild oat populations in field conditions
Abstract :
This study was conducted to evaluate of performances of registered herbicides on resistant and sensitive wild oat populations in field conditions. Trials were established in Kocagöl Village of Manyas District in Balıkesir and Ege Universty Faculty of Agriculture’s Trial Area in Bornova, İzmir. The recomended doses of seven herbicides registered in Turkey (clodinafoppropargyl, diclofop-methyl, fenoxaprop-p-ethyl, mesosulfuron – methyl + iodosulfuron – methyl - sodium, propoxycarbazone-sodium + mesosulfuronmethyl, pinoxaden, tralkoxydim) were applicated. It was detected that field was contaminated by A. fatua in Manyas while field was contaminated by A.sterilis in Bornova. The population in Manyas was herbides resistant, but not in Bornova. It was found out that the all of seven herbicides applied in Bornova had high efficacy, fenoxaprop, diclofop and clodinafop had low efficacy in Manyas which the herbicides resistance was determined.
