Title Of Article :
The Effect of Different Volimetric Rates of The Peat and Pumice Mixtures on Yield and Quality of Mushroom (Agaricus bisporus (L.) Sing)
Abstract :
this research was carried out to determine the effects of peat-pumice mixtures on yield and quality of Agaricus bisporus. In the study, pumice, in different diamaters (0-4 mm: small size; 4-8 mm: mixed size; 8-16 mm: large size), was mixed with peat (0%-control, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%; (Peat/Pumice; v/v)) and used as casing soil. The 85 % peat + 15 % mixed size pumice mixture was found to be most effective and provided an 21% increase in yield when compared to control treatment. When considering the weight of sporophore and cap, peat with %5 - 10 - 15 volumetric mixtures of different diamensions of pumice were resulted more high values observed depends on control treatment.
