Abstract :
due to the nature of the agricultural sector in Turkey, an efficient registration system could not be placed on the agricultural enterprises through long years. In recent years, enterprises in Turkey have been recorded with the farmer registration system application. The applied system in the EU countries; FADN (The Farm Accountancy Data Network) has been introduced in Turkey as ÇMVA (Çiftlik Muhasebe Veri Ağı). In consideration of product range in Menemen Research, Application and Production Farm of Ege University, Faculty of Agriculture, constituting a reliable and continuous registration system that presents the economic structure of a large-scale enterprise will form a sample model for the other enterprises in the same region. In the scope of the study, considering the data of 2013-2014, production, sales and expenses of the selected 16 crops have been recorded and gross margin has calculated. According to the standard gross margin method, the economic size of farm is 201.17 ESU (European Size Unit) and the farm is large-scale (Category 6). According to the standard output method, it has been determined as 375344 €. Therefore, this economic size is located in the group IX in European Union Classification system for agricultural farms and it is between 250000 and 500000 € by the lower and upper bounds.
