Title Of Article :
A late complication of abdominoplasty, confused with an ovarian cystic mass, that can only be diagnosed at laparotomy: A Seroma
Abstract :
Abdominoplasty is an elective surgical procedure which is mostly preferred by women with aesthetical reasons.A lot of postoperative complications are observed after this procedure. Seroma formation is the most common complication and is even regarded as a natural process of healing after the surgery. At this case report, we discuss a case of seroma which presented as a left adnexial cystic mass and another cystic mass unable to be discerned with imaging modalities but only to be diagnosed at laparotomy in a 40 year-old woman.
