Abstract :
We read with great interest the article by Ilhan about descriptive data of patients with venous thromboembolism (VTE). The author evaluated the archive records of patients diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE) excluding patients with splanchnic vein thrombosis.
