Abstract
This study is a descriptive research that is based on teachers’ views related to printmaking techniques that are planned to be taught in visual arts lessons by art teachers who work in 6th., 7th. and 8th. grades of public schools. The aim of the research is to reveal the problems which are encountered in applications and how visual arts teachers treat printmaking techniques in the application process of curriculum. The research has been carried out with 25 visual art teachers from 14 primary schools in Denizli in 2009-2010 academic year. Survey method has been used in the research. The questionnaire which is composed of open and closed ended questions includes three sections: a. demographic information, b. acquisitions related to printmaking and c. problems encountered.According to research findings, a lot of problems have been encountered during the application process of printmaking studies which are expected to be in the curriculum.
