Abstract :
Daytime generation programs for women and often prepared in the form of so-called women s programs are often discussed in the context of the effects on family life in recent years. Foreign countries began running earlier in a process similar to the type and contents of such programs that have been noted in Turkey, especially since the mid-2000s. Such women programs as health, education, sex life, marriage, fashion, food, and personal care offer information on a wide variety of fields and differ from other programs in terms of type, content and discourse. This study as an example of women s programs, , aims to explore the content and discourse features. First, the study offers a theoretical framework of the research and then the most favourite women s programs are evaluated in terms of genres and discursive features in the context of their effects on individual and social life.
