This work has the aim to treat the facts resulting language skills of verbal origin. Verbal in the Turkish and French have their own functions and features. While examined common functions in different languages, it is usual to encounter related situations between two languages. For many languages it is a common behavior to use as adjective and gerund some indicators resulting from verbs. Seen between the universals of languages, the participles are not in equal and balanced position despite all the common aspects. All the grammatical perceptions in mother tongue are useful and preparative but are also misleading while learning a foreign language. Linear researches between two or more languages are of great importance to identify principles for the functioning of different languages. There are similarities beside different attitudes of the two languages. This impersonal modal form in adjective function provides verb by the characteristics of an adjective and agrees in gender and number in French. For the normal features of the verb, it receives a supplement and is also used as gerunds by adding en before the verb. These structures in adjectival form, accept the marks of possession in Turkish and possessive pronouns in French. They allow the affirmative and negative in both languages. When they skip by the ellipse the name which they qualify, they give the aspect of name character. Despite the common function as participles exercise in Turkish and French, each language has its way of fulfilling the role of participles. Unlike the others, participles adjective is always situated at the end of skilled word and can be preceded by an adverb of intensity in French. This work undertakes to study the attitude of the Turkish and French concerning the use of words based on adjective and gerund.
