THE OPINIONS OF CLASSROOM TEACHERS RELATED TO PROJECT AND PERFORMANCE TASKS IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS
Abstract :
This study is carried out to show the qualitative approaches of primary school teachers about the projects and performance tasks. It should not be forgotten that schools form the basis of learning-teaching process and that homework is the part of school life. Projects and performance tasks are generally used in primary schools. The data, unintended to form generalisations, have been acquired from the interviews with 66 primary school teachers who were selected in purposeful sampling method. The readiness and willingness of the teachers to share their ideas were determined as the criteria. The data acquired from the interviews were used in content analysis.
