Abstract :
In this essay, it’s tried to identify Alpamış’s status via Alpamış epos Kazak variant by basing essay named “Yakut Epos character’s social status perepered by Vadim V. Trepavlov. Alpamış Epos is known by Altay, Kazak, Kara Kalpak and Başkurt Turkish. The planes this epos is seen are important because of showing it’s importance in Turkish culture. In this epos, as usual in most of the Turkish epos, having no child and the way to solve this, character’s lighting to get his fiance back, character’s being captured by his enemias with trick, character’s escaping and taking his revenge, coming back his own country and horse motif which is the biggest helper of the main character in these steps are clearly seen. In this essay, these motifs are analysed about giving social status to main character and cultural value.
