EFFECT OF EXCHANGE RATE AND PRICE VOLALITILY ON EXPORT OF NUTS TR32 REGION
Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to investigate whether price and exchange rate volalitily affect the export of NUTS TR32 region of Turkey. The study uses quarterly data of 2002-2014 period. The results suggests that total export of TR32 Region is affectted adversly by high volalitily in exchange rate and prices. Individual total export of each of provinces (Aydın, Denizli, Muğla) to Germany, France, England, Netherlands, Spain and Italy decreases during high price and exchange rate volalitily periods.Denizli province has highest individual effect among the provinces in the region.
